2. A Brief History of Time  by Stephen Hawkings
This classic book looks at the Big Bang, Black Holes, and much more.  Learn how we know what we know about space from one of the greatest minds in science.
3. Rocketman  by David Clary
This book looks at America's rocket pioneer Robert Goddard.  He was the father of our modern space program and this book traces the amazing journey from childhood to his many experiments with solid then liquid fuel rockets.
4. Pale Blue Dot  by Carl Sagan
A fascinating look at future space travel.  Where will the human race go in the next century?  Will we colonize the moon and mars? 
5. The Demon Haunted World  by Carl Sagan
This book looks at how science has been slowed by pseudo-science and spiritualism.  A look at both the history of scaring the human species and how this is phenomena is still around in the modern world.  This book is really a look at the nature of science written in a very personal way.
