Here's the meeting minutes for the meeting on Sunday 1/5/03 at Hien's house.  The usual people but Minh Phuong was able to make it this time.  We didn't get volunteers for Tet set-up. can someone volunteer for the empty slots? thanks

1/25/03 - MU'A LA^N 10 AM - 5PM - UMASS LOWELL

2/8/03 - TET, GAME TABLE - 7:30 AM MEET AT BAYSIDE EXPO!!! HAVE TO BE ON TIME WITH UNIFORM!!!

2/22/03 - HUONG DAO PREMIER - AT MURPHY SCHOOL 

Meeting minutes

1) Mua' Lan^ - Nha^n Luc - not enough , su quyet tam - NOT ENOUGH therefore our decision was to not mu'a la^n this year.  However, we promised Umass Lowell that we would already so we will mua' for that day. SATURDAY JAN 25, 2003 AT UMASS LOWELL 10am -5 pm.

2) Tet game table - SATURDAY FEB, 8, 2003 AT BAYSIDE EXPO. The table cost $50, prizes and candy  are budgeted for $50.  The space that we have, Hien confirm FOR SURE from Long Le who is in charge of game space.  Space we have is 12 feet length and "AS WIDE AS WE WANT"

Activities that we will have include

a) sign up list for new scouts -  VOLUNTEER??

b) pamphlets in VN and English to explain to parents and kids who and what we are.- HIEN AND A HUNG

c) We'll set-up a tent and recreate a campsite which would draw attention to our table.-VOLUNTEER??

d)EVERYONE TRY TO WEAR UNIFORM, IF YOU DON'T HAVE ONE, BORROW!!

e) we'll have a TV to show our camp fires and games, the small lion on display, drums and cymbols also. VOLUNTEER?

f)Magic show/ arts and craft, knots etc.. - VOLUNTEER?

g) games - plan A if there's lots of room --> use a mirror and have them use the mirror walk backward in a maze.  Have 2 contestants compete to see who does it faster. VOLUNTEER?

plan B--> if there's not enough room we'll teach them how to tie a knot then have them race to see who can make the knots fastest.

3) Preparing for SATURDAY 2/22/03  at Murphy school- HD PREMIER DATE

We'll use the same pamphlets and info, tent and campsite set up from Tet. we'll have:

1) Displays of HD activities, videos

2) FOOD

3) Parents informational conference, Q&A

4) Games- plenty we can do.

4) Ao' thun, co*`, and logo -- since no one came up with anything we voted that Anh Hung can be the dictator in this and decide for us (EVEN IF IT TURNS OUT UGLY) :-P  Those who didn't come too bad :-P
