My Artwork
I have created this page to show some of my own artwork, both origional and reproductions.  Allthough some of these pieces are reproductions, I have still put a great deal of time and work into these pieces. Please do not steal my work. As for the reproductions shown on this page, I am in no way claiming to be the origional artist, these are merely my reproductions . In each case I have stated which pieces are reproductions. The origional artist's name(s) will be displayed as soon as I know them.  I am merely showcasing my talent and not trying to recieve money for these pieces. If you are the origional artist of one of these pieces and are offended, please email me at huntthewind @ yahoo.com and I will remove the piece.

"Sadness Part 2".
Prismacolor
14" x 16 1/2"
This is one of my favorite pieces.  The inspiraton
behind it may or may not be apparent.  The love of a special woman and then the loss of that love was my inspiration for this bittersweet portait. I played around with this image several times, using different mediums trying to get the "feel" the way i wanted.  The first "Sadness" is a pencil rendering and will be appearing here soon. In this version a man is  remembering a woman cryin. The rose symbolises the love he has for her.The blood on one of the rose's thorns symbolises the loss of that love. The sail boat alone on the night sea expresses how lost he feels with out her.
This piece i call "Wolfmoon"
Prismacolor
14" x 16 3/4"
(shown on home page)
My love for the wolf compelled me to render this
image. I have the origional piece hanging n my living room. Each time I pass it, I can almost feel the eyes watching over me. Some may find that "spooky", but it was something that was intentional.
Notice that the rest of the picture is basicly black and white. The eyes are ment to be the focal point of the drawing. This is why they were done in light brown. To draw your eyes to his.
"Just Desserts"
Prismacolor and Marker
12" x 18"
I have gotten so many mixed feelings and remarks about this piece. For me there is a lot of symbolism in this one. We all have heard the saying"Every one gets their just desserts". And I believe it. The bloody knife symbolises death, wether it be in the back from a "friend" or just the natural course of things. The rose symbolises love with all its beauty and pains .  The bowl of strawberries and cream is just that , a yummy dessert. Sometimes you just have to enjoy life for what it is.
"Red Wizard"
Prismacolor and Marker
18" x 24"
This reproduction I did
  from a Game Card.
This game I played with several friends. Each of
us had our favorite cards.
The card this picture
is from,was one of my
favorite cards to play.
Source size:
2 1/2 x 2 1/2
I am still trying to find
the name of the origional
artist .
"Wizard Fire"
Prismacolor and Marker
14" x 16 1/2"
This reproduction is from the
same game as the piece above.
When one of my game friends
saw the piece above, he asked me
to try to reproduce one of his
favorite cards. As a favor, I did so.
Source size:
2 1/2 x 2 1/2
I do not know the name of
the origional artist of this piece.
"Lady Death"
Prismacolor and Marker
14" x 16 1/2"
This piece I reproduced  from
an advertisement insert that
I found in a comic book.
I saw this as a challenge to
recreate, as it was a departure
from my usual work.
This piece was done totally with
graphite pencils in varying
softnesses .
Source size:
approx. 3 x 5
I have seen this particular
figure<Lady Death>
done by different artists, therefor
I am unsure as to who is the
origional artist.
