One child and his family that was helped by Hunters Helping, was a child named Patrick. His Mother had committed suicide in front of her 4 children. Patrick is a sweet young innocent who would talk about Hunting all at any time! Risher suggested that we use the proceeds to buy Patrick some Clothes (Hunting and School) and show him that somebody cares for him!! Give him some HOPE!!! We got a lot of help and were able with the help of a Merchant in the area to get the Family a Whole Lot Of stuff!!!
By the grace of God and the accident of birth, we have been blessed in many respects. We live in a gorgeous country where we are able to earn our living and enjoy God�s blessings of family and surroundings. Through God�s benevolence and bounty, we are able to hunt many of his creatures for our nourishment and pleasure. We are also blessed with means to help those who are not so blessed. It is our desire to share this bounty with those less fortunate who are needful of help. We chose these people on the recommendations of their pastors, school officials and other in the position to know They are chosen at random. No emphasis is given to race, religion, ethnicity, gender or any other concern. We do give first preference to those who are interested in the hunting tradition, but it is NOT a requirement. We sell hunting items, prints, etc. which are donated or made at cost. The moneys are distributed under the direction of our board of directors. We are a nonprofit organization and our board of directors receive no moneys for their efforts and work.
