At long last here are the photos you've all been promised. These would have been here sooner but Geocities made FTP access a premium service without my knowledge.

Safely in Grandma's Arms
Protecting his eyes from the flash of the camera. Come on Grandma, we need to be able to see him if were going to show him off.
Grandma loves his little hands
So much so she gets really excited. I had a room mate that had a golden retriever that pee 'ed every time he got that excited. Thankfully grandma is house trained.
Sleeping sweetly in mom's arms
The tube in his nose is how he ate for about the first week. While in the womb baby's usually learn how to suck and that is how they learn to nurse. Benjamin came so early he didn't have time to learn yet so Laurie had to teach him but until then he got his food via a tube.
Mom can't get over how tinny his little toes are. She's quickly developing a foot fetish I think.
He loves to sleep
a lot
Looks like mom is trying to give him directions but he's not paying to much attention.
He's very small
It's very common for preemies to get jaundice so here the nurse is getting ready to put him under the "Billy Lights" for the night.
He needs the protection over his eyes because the lights can be harmful to his still developing eyes.
They strap him in a position er to keep him in one place but will continue to turn him every twenty minutes or so. The constant turning prevents bed sores or similar problems from occurring
They like to cook 'em all night long under these lights to help draw out the jaundice. It's kind of like being on full rotisserie, only he's not poultry.
