I had Marvin Anderson (chiropractor) out to adjust Hailey today. He found that she had a rotated rib on the left side before her hip, her right hip was popped out and her left knee way hyper-extended! She's all fixed now and the lump on her back should start going down since she can use her hind end again. Perfect timing too since she kicked apart the pipe panel fence lst night in turnout fighting with Daisy!

We had a big storm last night. Somehow Hailey tore down all her hotwire and had herself trapped in her run. She charged through it and out her stall door running for the turnouts to escape it. So, she's torn up her legs and they are swollen leaving her in standing wraps for a week. I swear she's going to give me a heart attack!

I rode her for the first time today! She was great! We just worked at the walk since her legs are still puffy. But she just stood there waiting for me to get on and then didn't move away until I told her to. We did some patterns and worked on steering and she was an angel! |
