| Our Tahoe Vacation August 23 - 25, 2002 |
| We stayed at the Donner Memorial State Park campground. We managed to get the PERFECT site right on the creek, which worked out well because all the kids in the campground near us came there to play and Emily made lots of new friends. They spent every morning and evening playing down at the creek. |

| Fishing for Crawdads..... the kids (4 girls and 2 boys, including Emily) caught 10 of them. When we let them all go we had a blast chasing the girls with them....they wouldn't hold them and their screams could be heard through the camp ground,, but I finally got them to trust the one I was holding and pet it. We let them all go and didn't cook them for dinner. |
