WILD-BILL was born and raised a Texan and it shows. He sports a ten gallon hat and has been known to carry sixshooters. He has served with the Joes since almost the begining as their chopper pilot.
WILD-BILL was part of the mission to recover a meteor resting in a volcano so it can power the Joe version of the MASS DEVICE. He jokingly compared the mission to roping cattle. Later when the Joes attacked Cobra base. WILD-BILL was part of a group of Skystrikers that went on a strafing run of the base.
During the race for the parts of the WEATHER DOMINATOR, WILD-BILL was part of the aircover for the Joes trying to fight for the Hydro Master. He picked up Spirit after the latter had found the fragment. During Cobra's plot to use the PYRAMID OF DARKNESS, WILD-BILL was part of the group that attacked Cobra at the Devil's Playground.He wanted to try to save FLINT and LADY J from drowning but was stopped by heavy fire from DESTRO. Fortunately, FLINT and LADY J were able to save themselves.
WILD-BILL was an intergral part of a mission to into Texas to stop Cobra from using a satellite weapon. He saved the day by leading a cattle stampede that wrecked Cobra's jeeps. WILD-BILL was part of the mission into space to destroy a Cobra broadcast satellite. He supported the idea that the Joes become outlaws to stop clones of high-ranking generals. When Cobra stole Joe vehicles to launch a Christmas Day raid on a nearby town, WILD-BILL used a Cobra Fang to shoot down Wild-Weasel, much to the Cobra ace's dismay.
WILD-BILL tried to round up help after several Joes went missing trying to rescue Dr Shakur from Cobra. By the time a hovercraft was able to get underway, the missing Joes had already saved the doctor and had destroyed Cobra's Vulcan Machine. WILD-BILL used a magnet to capture the BARONESS so LADY J can impersonate her in an attempt to stop Cobra from using a tidal wave machine.
WILD-BILL served on the board of inquiry regarding LT FALCON. He later helped LIFT-TICKET drop FALCON off at the Slaughter House.
