TURLES was a Saiyan warrior who became a space pirate instead of following FREEZA. He got a hold of seeds from the TREE OF MIGHT. He gathered together several warriors and they started to go from world to world, planting the seeds and watching the TREE grow and destroy the planet.
When TURLES planeted the seeds on Earth, GOKU and his friends opposed him and tried to stop the TREE from growing. TURLES and his warriors easily beat up GOKU'S allies. Also TURLES captured GOHAN and made him transform into a monster. When GOHAN was calmed by his pet dragon, Icarus, TURLES tried to kill him. GOKU started to attack TURLES and tried to launch a SPIRIT BOMB. TURLES blasted GOKU before he could gather enough energy. He then ate a fruit from the TREE and started to beat GOKU almost to death. GOKU then mananged to gather the TREE'S energy and used that to form the SPIRIT BOMB. He blasted TURLES into nothingness and the TREE shriveled into dust.
