1ST APPEARANCE: TRANSFORMERS: MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE
STARSCREAM started out as the leader of all the Decepticon jets. He has always considered himself one of the powerful of the group and thinks he should rule. He was part of MEGATRON'S forces on Earth. Before arriving though, STARSCREAM had traveled to the planet with Skyfire on a mission of exploration. Skyfire crashed in a mishap and STARSCREAM thouht him dead until he was found later on by the other Decepticons.
STARSCREAM tried to take control of the Decepticons after MEGATRON was thought dead following the end of his plot to bring Cybertron to Earth. STARSCREAM used the lab of his ally, DR ARCHEVILLE, to set off a chain reaction to destroy the Earth. He was stopped by MEGATRON and OPTIMUS PRIME.
STARSCREAM tried several more times to grab leadership from MEGATRON. One time, he teamed with a paranoid Autobot named Red Alert. Another time, he created the COMBATICONS, to serve as his army. Both plans failed and STARSCREAM and the COMBATICONS ended up stranded on an asteroid. The COMBATICONS left STARSCREAM and tried to attack the other Transformers on their own. MEGATRON allowed STARSCREAM back so he could show everyone the weakspot on Bruticus, the gestalt form of the COMBATICONS.
STARSCREAM was a victim of a takeover scheme himself when ASTROTRAIN and BLITZWING trapped him and MEGATRON in the sewers.
In 2005, STARSCREAM was part of the army attacking Autobot City. During the battle he had to shoot off part of his foot to avoid getting crushed by the transforming city. After MEGATRON was beaten by OPTIMUS PRIME, STARSCREAM took command and ordered a retreat. He then tossed MEGATRON into space with the other wounded Decepticons. He managed to win a brawl to determine who'd lead. His coronation was interrupted by GALVATRON, who blasted STARSCREAM to dust.
STARSCREAMS ghost appeared and took over several Decepticon bodies to plan his revenge. He ended cutting a deal with UNICRON whereby, he'd get a new body if he replaces UNICRON'S eyes and connects him to Cybertron. STARSCREAM stole METROPLEX'S eyes and took over TRYPITICON. When he was expelled from TRYPTICON by sabatoge, he demanded a new body so he could finish working. UNICRON complied but STARSCREAM ran off instead only to be caught in an explosion seconds later and be sent hurling through space.
STARSCREAM not been seen since.
