1ST APPEARANCE: ROBOTECH: FALSE START
SPACE STATION LIBERTY was a base used by the Army of the Southern Cross. At the begining of the Second Robotech War, it was demolished by the forces of the ROBOTECH MASTERS. Several personel survived but were trapped in the ruins of the base. In order to get to them, the Southern Cross would have to go through the ROBOTECH MASTERS. A mission commanded by DANA STERLING and MARIE CRYSTAL broke through and rescued the remaining personnel. Wheter or not SPACE STATION LIBERTY was ever repaired is unknown at this time.
(Note: In the movie Macross 2, the moon is home to a lunar colony instead of SPACE STATION LIBERTY.)
