RADITZ is the brother of GOKU. He came to Earth and was shocked that GOKU had not laid waste to the planet. He then encountered PICCOLO and a short fight occured. RADITZ was unimpressed by him and simply left. He found GOKU with MASTER ROSHI. He demanded GOKU live up to his Sayien heritage and kill one hundred people. To make sure he honored the agreement, RADITZ kidnapped GOHAN.
GOKU and PICCOLO teamed up and attacked RADITZ. the battle was vicious with PICCOLO losing an arm and GOKU being beaten to a bloody pulp. GOHAN escaped and one point showed off an incredible surge of power and scored the only serious injury on RADITZ. RADITZ counter attacked and knocked him out. GOKU and PICCOLO redoubled their efforts and GOKU grabbed RADITZ in a bearhug. PICCOLO took the opportunity to fire his PARTICLE BEAM CANNON. The attack mortally wounded RADITZ, but it also did the same to GOKU
Dying, RADITZ revealed that two of his fellow Sayiens had been listening to their battle through the radio link in their SCOUTERS and were now on their way to Earth. He then died and his spirit was sent to its eternal home after a brief visit to KING YAMA'S CHECK-IN STATION. Earth's heroes had to meanwhile deal with the fact that more Sayiens were on the way and they only had a year to prepare.
