RACE: unknown race of shapeshifters
FIGHTING SKILLS: none, uses her shapechanging powers to get out of fights
1ST APPEARANCE: DRAGONBALL: YAMCHA, THE DESERT BANDIT
PUAR is a small catlike being that serves as lifelong companion to the bandit known as YAMCHA. She possesses the ability to change shape. In fact, she and OOLONG went to the same shapechanging school. She ran into him again when OOLONG was a companion on a quest with GOKU and BULMA. PUAR and her master found out that the group was searching for DRAGONBALLS. YAMCHA decided to follow so he could steal the balls and get his wish granted.PUAR used her powers to help him in his various attempts to outsmart the DRAGONBALL hunters. Eventually the pair teamed up with the others to stop the evil PILAF. After that adventure, YAMCHA and BULMA fell in love and PUAR was there to help her master in the fine art of being in a relationship. When YAMCHA decided to take part in the WORLD MARTIAL ARTS TOURNAMENT, PUAR cheered him on. After he was defeated by JACKIE CHUN, PUAR stayed to cheer on GOKU. After the TOURNAMENT, PUAR and OOLONG used their powers to keep BULMA and YAMCHA cool after their car broke down.
PUAR later on convinced YAMCHA to give up fighting and pursue a career in baseball. She ended up having to most of the time restrain him from joining in on the massive fights that would break out between teams from time to time. She one day gave in and allowed him to take part in a brawl that started due to a bad call. After the game, she watched as KRILLEN told YAMCHA he had report for training with KING KAMI to prepare for the arrival of the Saiyans.
The day of the battle, she saw the fight on t.v. with several others at MASTER ROSHI'S HOUSE. She freaked and then fainted when YAMCHA was killed by a dying SAIBAMAN. She then spent the rest of the time out cold with a towel around her forehead. It is unknown what happened to her next, but she appeared again with OOLONG, watching DR. BRIEFS communicate with GOKU on the latters journey to NAMEK.
When YAMCHA came back to life, PUAR went back to his side. The two of them attended the WORLD MARTIAL ARTS TOURNAMENT to help CHI-CHI, BULMA, and OX-KING cheer on their friends and family.
As far as anyone knows, PUAR can still be found at her master's side today.
