LOCATION: somewhere in the Pacific Ocean
POKOPONESIA is a quaint little island country ruled by PINEAPPLE POKOPO. It has for years tried to make a killing in the tourism trade but the only things it boasts are an economy based on pineapple exportation and lots of sharks. For a short while, the island was the home of YANK, the super intelligent space monkey after his capsule crashed nearby. The monkey was to build a cannon with which PINEAPPLE POKOPO was to conquer Hawaii. He was rescued by TICK, ARTHUR, and AMERICAN MAID. His cannon was actually a launcher for an escape vehicle and it was used to get the monkey and his rescuers to safety. PINEAPPLE POKOPO meanwhile just sulked at the fact that he lost some tourists.
