1ST APPEARANCE: MY YOUTH IN ARCADIA

PHANTOM F HARLOCK was an aerial explorer in the early 20th century. He flew around the world in his biplane, ARCADIA. He claimed at one time to have seen almost every corner of the globe. The only corner he had yet was the OWEN STANLEY MOUNTAINS. He made a rush for the tallest peak, "THE WITCH", but had to veer off at the second. He could here the mountain laughing at him. He turned around and dumped fuel to lighten his load. He was left with ten minutes of fuel. He staked all on that ten minutes and flew straight towards the mountain. Unfortunately, no one has ever found out if he conquered the mountain. However, he a book called MY YOUTH IN ARCADIA came out and detailed his exploits. Perhaps the tale is concluded in there. He is survived by a son, PHANTOM F HARLOCK JR and the present day CAPTAIN HARLOCK.
