FIGHTING SKILLS: uses some techniques taught by ROSHI, also relys on his own massive form in battle
1ST APPEARANCE: DRAGONBALL: OX-KING ON FIRE MOUNTAIN
The OX-KING is a large and powerful man who used to live on a castle on top of a mountain. The mountain became surronded by flames, cutting the OX-KING off from his home. OX-KING sent his daughter CHI-CHI, to find his old master, ROSHI, to ask him for help. In the mean time, he terroized the countryside.
OX-KING ran into GOKU, BULMA, and OOLONG and began to attack them. GOKU held his own against him, and eventually the fight stopped when OX-KING recognized the FLYING NIMBUS. He sent GOKU to find CHI-CHI and see if he could help her find MASTER ROSHI. GOKU succeeded in both tasks and ROSHI used the KAMEHAMEHA WAVE to extinguish the fire.
OX-KING remained friends with GOKU, especialy after he married CHI-CHI. OX-KING also was blessed with a grandson named GOHAN. OX-KING enjoyed bringing presents to the little boy. Unfortunately, he one time was attacked and knocked out cold doing so by henchman of the evil GARLIC JR.
OX-KING stayed with CHI-CHI when GOKU and GOHAN disappeared. He accompanied her to ROSHI'S house and helped revive her when she fainted on hearing that GOKU was dead and GOHAN was taken by PICCOLO. OX-KING was present at the house the day the Sayiens arrived. He watched the battle on tv and tried to care for CHI-CHI who was having fainting spells and fits do to watching her son battling fearsome aliens. He came back to the house to drop off GOHAN when the latter was going to accompany BULMA and KRILLEN on a journey to NAMEK.
OX-KING soon went to Capsule Corp. where he helped restrain CHI-CHI, who was trying to make several attempts at going to NAMEK to "save" her son.
OX-KING continued to stand by his daughter's side in the years to come. He visited her family after GOKU'S second death. Years later, he stayed with others at KAMI'S LOOKOUT during the reign of terror by MAJIN BUU. Like almost everyone else in the LOOKOUT, OX-KING was killed by BUU. He was revived shortly after by the DRAGONBALLS.
A decade later. OX-KING attended the WORLD MARTIAL ARTS TOURNAMENT to cheer on GOKU, GOTEN and PAN.
