LA MIME is part of a race that was conquered by the Almedas. She was made to work as a secretary for GENERAL ZEDA. She made friends with ZOL of TOCARDA. She would inform him of current events, especially those that concerned his home world.
LA MIME found out about the plan to destroy TOCARDA and told ZOL. ZOL and his fellow Tocardans decided to rebel. LA MIME joined them and ended up as part of the crew on HARLOCK'S ARCADIA. She went to TOCARDA and helped in rescuing MERA, ZOL'S sister and the last Tocardan female. On the way back, LA MIME saw the death of MERA and the sacrifice the other Tocardans made to enable HARLOCK to escape the FLAME STREAM PROVINENCE.
LA MIME witnessed HARLOCK'S last visit to Earth and his final battle with ZEDA. She remains one of his most faithful crew members and one of only two people he really trust.
