LOCATION: near CYBERTRON
The planet of JUNK is made of various bits and pieces of garbage and spare parts. It has been described as the junk capital of the universe. Like the planet, its inhabitants, the Junkions, are made from scrap. They are extremely resilent and can get back up even after losing limbs. Their culture revolves around televiaion and they speak in phrases taken from commercials, shows, and movies.
The Junkions used to be xenophobic. They attacked a group of Autobots who crashlanded on JUNK. The battle was stopped by the arrival of HOT ROD and his group. HOT ROD used the UNIVERSAL GREETING and made peace with the Junkions. The Junkions rebuilt the Autobot leader ULTRA MAGNUS and helped the Autobots defeat UNICRON.
A year later, the Autobots stopped on JUNK to rest after being rescued from the planet GOO. A shortwhile after, the QUINTESSONS mind controled the Junkions so they could find a hidden journal. A battle with SUPERION wrecked the QUINTESSON'S machines and a message of warfare was broadcasted across space to any race with televisions. Fortunately the Autobots were able to set things right.
(Note: JUNK plays an important role in a storyline in the British comics.)
