1ST APPEARANCE: (in shadow) DRAGONBALL Z: IMMORTALIY DENIED (full) ARRIVAL OF THE GINYU FORCE
(Note: all except for CAPTAIN GINYU are deceased)
The GINYU FORCE are a group of powerful elite warriors employed by FRIEZA. The group is composed of: CAPTAIN GINYU, the purple-skinned horned leader, JAYCE, red-skinned white-haired screaming wildman, BURTER, big blue and JAYCE'S best freind, GOLDO, a short green guy with a hatred for VEGETA, and RACOOM, a dull-witted but super strong brute. The five warriors were called to NAMEK to destroy VEGETA and help FREIZA gain all of the DRAGONBALLS.
The GINYU'S found VEGETA after the Saiyen had made a temporary alliance with GOHAN and KRILLEN. CAPTAIN GINYU took all of the DRAGONBALLS to FRIEZA while GOLDO launched an attack using his ability to stop time. He was about to kill GOHAN and KRILLEN when VEGETA shot him through the throat. VEGETA then blasted GOLDO to dust. RACOOM started up his assault and ended up nearly crippling KRILLEN and VEGETA and beating GOHAN senseless.
Before RACOOM could deliver a killing blow, GOKU appeared. He defeated RACOOM with one blow to the stomach. JAYCE and BURTER launched an aeraial assault. After a long standoff, GOKU beat the stuffings out of BURTER. JAYCE retreated while VEGETA killed BURRTER by slamming on top of his head from high up and at really high speeds. He also reduced RACOOM'S body to ash. JAYCE returned with CAPTAIN GINYU. The two faced off against GOKU who had sent GOHAN and KRILLEN to find the DRAGONBALLS. VEGETA had in the meabwhile fled. After gauging GOKU'S power, GINYU wounded himself severly and switched bodies with GOKU.
GINYU used GOKU'S body to attack GOHAN and KRILLEN. After a tense standoff GOKU arrived and revealed that GINYU didn't have enough control over the body. JAYCE was meanwhile killed by VEGETA, who blasted him in the face at pointblank range. VEGETA attacked GINYU and wounded him. GINYU tried to steal VEGETA'S body but ended up back in his old one. VEGETA also beat that body up. GINYU tried to go for VEGETA'S body again but was thwarted when GOKU threw a frog in the way. GINYU is now apparently trapped forever in the body of a frog. He tried to take over the body of BULMA but was quickly returned to his frog body. He now lives in a pond at Capsule Corp. The other members of the GINYU FORCE were used in a training excersize by KING KAI. They were defeated by YAMCHA, TIEN, and CHIAO-TZU and sent to the HOME FOR INFINITE LOSERS.
Years later, the dead FORCE members joined with FRIEZA, KING COLD, and CELL to take over the HFIL. They were all defeated by GOKU and PIKKON. A short time later, the FORCE was maong those in the HFIL who watched the fight between GOKU, VEGETA, and KID BUU
