POWERS: he has no powers, but he can pose on a roof like nobody's buisness
DIE FLEDERMAUS is the CITY's resident nightime vigilantle. No one has ever seen him fighting during the day. In fact, he spends most of the day at the diner drinking cappichinos. He and AMERICAN MAID don't get along and fight everytime they meet. Why this is so is anyone's guess.
DIE FLEDERMAUS first met the TICK while the latter was racing to the CITY Dam. He ran out of roofs to leap onto and DIE FLEDERMAUS appeared and sympathized with him. AMERICAN MAID appeared seconds later and she and FLEDERMAUS got into a shouting match. The TICK meanwhile saved the CITY.
DIE FLEDERMAUS represented the CITY's heroes during an interview with SALLY VACCUM concerning DINOSAUR NEILL. Shortly after, he was part of the team ARTHUR created to stop a mesmerized TICK from doing the bidding of MR MENTAL. He was one of the first people attacked by trees controlled by EL SEED. During an interview afterward, he asked where the cops were when all this happened. DIE FLEDERMAUS also was one of the heroes that fought PROTO-CLOWN. During the battle, he fainted from terror.
When SWISS SPIES appeared in the CITY, they beat up DIE FLEDERMAUS and gave him the hysterical notion the entire country was going to be invaded by Switzerland. Later, he let ARTHUR be his partner after TICK'S apparent death. He also ate most of the food in the gift basket MAYOR BLANK gave ARTHUR. He later disguised himself has the villianous Rake to save TICK from BRAINCHILD.
DIE FLEDERMAUS caught the eye of the villian OTTOMAN. She tried to get him to switch sides but he refused and helped bring her in. He later was a victim of the BREADMASTER'S scheme to cripple all the heroes by using evil gingerbread men. DIE FLDERMAUS was so scared, he could not sleep for a week.
