ASSIGNMENT
: Commander of Chicago Resistance

EVE HANLEY was an art student at the University of Chicago before the war. When Earth was conquered, she joined the Chicago Resistance. She quickly became one of its more commanding personalties.

EVE joined in on the disasterous mission to kidnap the creator of the GRAF SHIELD. Her E-FRAME was shot down and she had to watch helplessly as SEAN NAPIER crashed. She has always had strong opposition to Exofleet interference but will accept help from them if its needed.

When SEAN NAPIER became commander of all of Earth's resistance forces, EVE was made his successor as leader of the Chicago Resistance. EVE'S first mission was to help RITA TORRES capture a NEO-MEGA. During the mission, she and TORRES argued the entire time over how to procede. When the Neos attacked and took over the Resistance underground base, the two put aside their differences to lead everyone to safety and setup camp in an abandoned farm outside of PHAETON CITY (Chicago).

Awhile later, EVE teamed with KAZ TAKAGI and WOLF BRONSKI to rig a train to blow up a secret Neo weapons facility. When they hijacked the train, EVE found looted art treasures inside. She then fought to make a plan to save the art and complete the mission. Finally, EVE had the art hidden in a cave wile she and BRONSKI took the train out in the open to draw away the Neo's. The plan worked and EVE and BRONSKI fell in love.

During the final battle to take Earth, EVE joined in on the attack of a Detroit tank factory. When NAPIER and several others took tanks to blast their way to PHAETON CITY, EVE provided aircover in her E-FRAME. When the convoy reached PHAETON CITY, EVE went to escort Able Squad through the sewers to PHAETON'S underground bunker. After the battle she and BRONSKI rang a bell in a tower to let everyone know the war was over.

It is unknown what EVE HANLEY is doing now that the war is over, but she did inspire BRONSKI to go back to school.
