DR WHEELO was a mad scientist who along with his assitant, PROFFESSOR KOACHIM, tried to take over the world. They ended up buried in a frozen wasteland for fifty years. KOACHIM freed himself and used the DRAGONBALLS to free his master. Due to the long imprisonment, DR WHEELO'S body withered away. He had his brain placed in a massive cyborg body and then set off on a quest to find the strongest man in the world so he could steal his body.
He had MASTER ROSHI and BULMA kidnapped. DR WHEELO thought ROSHI was still the strongest man in the world just has he had been fifty years ago. When ROSHI fell before KOACHIM'S biomechanical minions, BULMA told him GOKU was now the strongest. WHEELO had PICCOLO brainwashed into serving him. GOKU arrived and began fighting KOACHIM'S minions. GOHAN and KRILLEN also appeared to help. Together the three destroyed the minions and freed PICCOLO. DR WHEELO attacked them with his cyborg body and in the process of the battle, his lab was destroyed. WHEELO went into orbit and tried to launch an energy beam that would destroy the planet. GOKU launched a SPIRIT BOMB and blasted DR WHEELO to dust. Meanwhile, BULMA AND MASTER ROSHI were freed while KOACHIM died during the destruction of WHEELO'S lab.
