DODOORIA was a large pink alien with spikes all over his body. He served as third-in-command during FRIEZA'S expedition to NAMEK. During one attempt to collect a DRAGONBALL from some villigers, DODOORIA ruthlessly attacked and killed several Namek warriors. When he tried to harm a little boy named DENDE, the human named GOHAN appeared and slammed him into a wall. GOHAN had seen the entire battle and was afraid to jump to the defense of the Nameks until he saw DODOORIA threaten the boy, DENDE. DODOORIA tried to attack GOHAN, but was blinded by KRILLEN using a SOLAR FLARE.
After regaining his sight, DODOORIA went after the humans and engaged in an intense aerial chase. He lost them and then destroyed a huge portion of the landscape just in case they landed. He turned back and was ambushed by VEGETA. DODOORIA realized VEGETA had grown more powerful than him and tried to get out of fighting by telling the Sayien the true behind the destruction of his homeworld. After finishing his tale, DODOORIA turned around and started to fly away. VEGETA then revealed he had no intention of letting him live and he blasted DODOORIA out of the sky.
