DIRK MANUS is a mercenary in the year 2006. He was found under attack by the TERRORCONS by the TECHNOBOTS and MARISSA FAIREBORNE. The dashing rouge charmed FAIREBORNE and ended up betraying the TECHNOBOTS. When DIRK was confronted the truth came out. He was actually working for the QUINTESSONS trying to steal a device called the Re-creator. He successfully stole the device and in front of FAIREBORNE and the QUINTESSONS, used it to semingly vaporize the TECHNOBOTS. At first FAIREBORNE was shocked, but then DIRK showed his true colors, he used the device to rematerialize the TECHNOBOTS. The QUINTESSONS retreated and DIRK asked if he could keep the gold they had paid him. Unfortunately, FAIREBORNE'S superiors at the E.D.C. kept the payment as evidence. DIRK then stole the chest with the gold only to discover that FAIREBORNE had replaced the gold with dust. He laughed at the fact that after conning her so many times, she finally pulled a fast one on him.
