ALEC DELEON was born in France. At an early age he was orphaned and from then on had to make a living as a pickpocket. He found his sense of purpose by joining Exofleet. He has been heard saying that Exofleet is the first time he has ever had a sense of being in a family. He went on to become communications officer under JT MARSH.
ALEC DELEON took part in the battle against the pirate forces of JONAS SIMBACCA. Like the rest of Able Squad, he spent a year in prison for rescuing MARSH after the latter was court-martialed for mutiny. After being released, he took part in the mission to kidnap the creator of the GRAF SHIELD. DELEON, MARSH, and MARSALLA snuck aboard a frieghter bound for Venus after they saw that the Neo they captured was not the real creator. On Venus, they were nearly given to the Neos by JAMES BURNS in a prisoners for food deal. Fortunately NARA BURNS came to the rescue.
DELEON was one of the Able Squad members tricked by CAPTAIN MARCUS into going on a deep cover mission to Mars to destroy a Neo breeding facility on OLYMPUS MONS. He correctly guessed that the facility had enough equipment to create Neos to replace all of humanity. DELEON was the first person captured by MARSALLA when it appeared that he had switched sides. Fortunately, that was a ruse designed to get the squad inside. The facility and the entire mountain was destroyed when the squad caused a massive explosion by overloading their E-FRAMES, then tossing them into the magma at the center of the mountain. Immediately after the mission was completed, DELEON went with MARSH to negoiate an alliance with JONAS SIMBACCA.
DELEON took part in the long term recon of Venus to prepare for an invasion. During the mission, he went with MAGGIE WESTON to deliver a NEO-MEGA to Exofleet. The NEO-MEGA turned out to be a Neo-sapien that was given the ability to change shape by an experiment. DELEON, WESTON, and the pirate HOLLIS, worked together to destroy the creature. They got back in time to help in the retaking of Venus.
ALEC DELEON and MAGGIE WESTON were seperated from their friends during the attempt to force VIC TYRREY to retreat after an unauthorized attack on Canterbera, Australia. They ended up trekking through the Australian outback where they befriended some aboringines. While sleeping, they experienced a dream where they saw an explosion so massive that it was visible throughout the entire solar system. They reunited with their buddies in time to fight off SHIVA'S troops and help successfully pulling out of Australia. A short time later, DELEON and WESTON were part of a mission to Mars that ended in the planet being destroyed. Thus their vision came true.
ALEC DELEON was given an E-FRAME with enhanced connections between the pilot and its onboard computers. The new E-FRAME enabled him to find MARSH after the latter was captured by Neos. He rescued him in the nick of time from a prototype NEO-LORD. DELEON took part in the attack on the Moon that was supposed to set up for an invasion of Earth. During the fight, he supported AVERY BUTLER'S jump-troops. He and COLEEN O'REILLY confronted TYPHONUS. The Neo general attacked and severly wounded DELEON before O'REILLY shot him dead. She insisted DELEON get medical help but he refused. He used the E-FRAME to send out a false surrender order to the NeoFleet. His action won the day but at a costly price. He died before the medics could arrive. MAGGIE WESTON had just begun to develop feelings for him and was crushed by his death. She gave the black box from his E-FRAME to PROFFESSOR ALEGERNON, the creator of his upgraded E-FRAME.
An E-FRAME'S black box is supposed to contain the memories of its pilot. Sincer DELEON'S E-FRAME was so advanced, it might go beyond that and have a piece of his personality. ALEGERNON used the black box and the CLONING TECHNOLOGY used by PHAETON to clone DELEON. He had a human outside and the mind of DELEON but his insides were NEO-MEGA. MAGGIE WESTON was overjoyed to see him alive.The two joined ALEGERNON when he used the GRAF SHIELD to rebuild Mars.
