DANIEL is the son of Spike. He has grown up all his life around the Autobots and many of them, including ARCEE, HOT ROD, and WHEELIE, have acted like a second family to him.
DANIEL played an important role in helping defend Autobot City from the Decepticons. It was he who suggested that HOT ROD go with him to watch the shuttle land. When he got to LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, DANIEL noticed the hole. This made HOT ROD confirm that the Decepticons had hijacked it. DANIEL also watched as Devastator started attacking the city gates. He was present when OPTIMUS PRIME died.
DANIEL went in the same shuttle as ULTRA MAGNUS and vcompany to go to CYBERTRON and try to stop UNICRON from destroying MOON BASE ONE & TWO, on which his dad was stationed. He used one of his dad's old EXO-SUIT'S to help the Autobots repair their shuttle after they crashed on the planet of JUNK. When they finaly attacked UNICRON, DANIEL was separated from the others and ened up finding his dad seconds before SPIKE was going to be dropped in acid. DANIEL used his EXO-SUIT to save him.
DANIEL continued to take part in adventures with the Autobots. As a dark scheme of theirs, the QUINTESSONS used DANIEL'S nightmares to attack the Autobots. DANIEL woke up in a daze and turned his dreams against the QUINTS. Another time, he and GRIMLOCK accidentally got involved in an alien war. They were saved by his mother Carly.
DANIEL found OPTIMUS PRIME after the latter revived for the first time. He and WHEELIE also tried to find out ULTRA MAGNUS' birthday so they can give the Autobot commander a surprise party.
DANIEL was one of those who went to NEBULOS. During a battle, he was grievously injured by a Decepticon. To save him, SPIKE made him into ARCEE'S head using the HEADMASTER PROCESS. Together he and ARCEE helped defeat the Decepticons and their Hive allies.
DANIEL continues to fight alongside ARCEE today
