COUNT MECHA was a cruel "man" wqho delighted in hunting and killing flesh and blood beings. He would go out and practice the art of trophy-hunting with some of his mechanized subjects. On one such hunt, he killed the mother of TETSURO HOSHINO. The young boy promised vengance. COUNT MECHA meanwhile, took the woman's body and made a decoration in his traveling home, the TIME CASTLE.
Years later, TETSURO tracked the TIME CASTLE down to the MOUNT GUN FRONTIER on the planet HEAVY MELDAR. He found the count but he was surrounded by guards. Fortunately, TETSURO was saved by BOSS ANTARES. CONUT MECHA retreated to the castle's engine room. TETSURO followed him and shot off his arm. The count bluffed his way passed TETSURO and blocked him with a forcefield. ANTARES appeared and sacrificed himself to destroy the forcefield. TETSURO then shot COUNT MECHA through the head, killing him. The count's lover RYUZU then explained to the young boy that he used to be a kind man but he was corrupted by his machine body. COUNT MECHA'S body was destroyed when the TIME CASTLE disintegrated.
