COLDSMAN was an executive at DYNIPON GIKEN and one of those who was a large part of the company's plans to take over the illegal weapons market in Newport City.

He was the mastermind behind MUELLER'S scheme to create robot zombies. COLDSMAN was apparently the one who ordered MUELLER to kill CHARON. LEONA saw his shadowed face twice. Once when she went to get vengence against CHARON'S killer, and again when she tried to stop a runaway truck. Following the failure of the truck plan, the board of DYNIPON GIKEN fired COLDSMAN.

In reality, COLDSMAN was actually working with an American company called ROCKFORD ENTERPRIES. He had his assistant, KEREOKA, offer the services of his invention, the AUTOMATED SPIDER TANK. The tank was used in a plan to kill MAYOR WEATHERBY. COLDSMAN had a tape made showing the executives planning the Mayor's murder. The tape got into police hands and the board members of DYNIPON GIKEN went to jail. During the chaos, COLDSMAN met MUELLER in a square. LEONA appeared and MUELLER pretended to hold COLDSMAN at gunpoint. LEONA let MUELLER run but chased after him before giving up to rush the Mayor to the hospital. COLDSMAN meanwhile left the scene.

COLDSMAN had KEREOKA attack the hospital with two ASTs. Meanwhile, LEONA and her partner, AL had tracked a signal to the American Embassy, where COLDSMAN and KEREOKA were hiding out with an executive from ROCKFORD ENTERPRISES. After the attack failed, COLDSMAN left the Embassy. LEONA recognized him and gave chase. COLDSMAN stopped the car and told the police he was giving up. As LEONA approached him, AL saw KEREOKA with a gun. He saved LEONA from getting shot but was wounded in the process. COLDSMAN drove off and made it to an airbase where he boarded a private jet. LEONA stormed the field in BONAPARTE and chased after the plane. It took off but LEONA fired at it with the tank's machine gun. At first it looked like she missed but then KEREOKA noticed the flames coming from the wing. The plane exploded seconds later, killing all aboard.
