CARLY was a teenager that was accidentally drawn into a battle between the Autobots and Decepticons. She was saved by SPIKE. The Autobot IRONHIDE blamed himself for getting her into the conflict. She eventually helped him see that it wasn't his fault. Meanwhile, she and SPIKE began dating.
CARLY went with SPIKE on a dangerous mission to CYBERTRON to get a substance that was needed to cure a disease that was affecting all Earthbound Transformers. She lost her car thanks to a laser blast fired by SHOCKWAVE. She and SPIKE found SWOOP of the DINOBOTS and together they found what they were looking for and freed SWOOP'S DINOBOT buddies.
By 2005, CARLY had married SPIKE and they had a son named DANIEL. It is unknown where she was during the great battle of Auto City or during the UNICRON crisis. Almost a year later, she was present at the Interstellar Olympics when the SHARKTICONS attacked. She fended then off with a blaster but couldn't prevent her husband's kidnapping.
CARLY participated on a mission to go into another dimension and rescue GRIMLOCK and DANIEL, who were stuck in the middle of a civil war engineered by the QUINTESSONS. She then went to bat for DANIEL when his father scolded him for ruining a formal dress outfit.
CARLY'S whereabouts during the battle for the PLASMA ENERGY KEY are unknown, as is her reaction to the news that her husband and son are now both Autobot HEADMASTERS.
(Note: CARLY does not appear in the comics. Linda Gary did the voice of Teela in the 80s cartoon MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE. Sadly, she passed away in 1996.)
