BRAWN was part of the first group of Autobots to make contact with Earth. Although among one the smallest Autobots, he does posses great strength and a rough attitude to match. He was not afraid to take on Decepticons twice his size.
During the plot to destroy Earth by bringing CYBERTRON into orbit, BRAWN was part of a group that SPIKE took with him to free his father from Decepticon control. He battled SHOCKWAVE and downed the purple Decepticon with a large beam.
Later on during another mission, BRAWN faced off against MEGATRON and stole his Fussion Cannon. He tried to fire the cannon himself by overwhelmed by the tremendous recoil.
BRAWN survived the takeover of CYBERTRON and by 2005, was seriving under OPTIMUS PRIME on MOONBASE 1. He was part of IRONHIDE'S shuttle run to Earth. When the Decepticons attacked, BRAWN was the first one killed when STARSCREAM fired a blast from MEGATRON'S gunmode that hit BRAWN in the upper left part of the chest. BRAWN was laid to rest in a floating funeral barge somewhere in space.
(Note: BRAWN dies also in the G.I.JOE comic multipart adventure that serves as a lead-in to TRANSFORMERS: GENERATION 2. He is killed by a MEGATRON induced thermal explosion.)
