Little is known about the past of the pirate called BARCA. He served as one of JONAS SIMBACCA'S personal advisors. Like most pirates, BARCA was really looking out for his own interests. When JT MARSH approached with a peace proposal, BARCA went against it. SIMBACCA made peace anyway.BARCA contacted PHAETON and agreed to help him destroy Exofleet.
BARCA gathered together others who were displeased with the alliance. He also tricked HOLLIS into following him and arranged for him to attempt an assination of SIMBACCA.The plot failed.
Several months later, BARCA betrayed Able Squad on a mission to Mars. He trapped them on a "captured" vessel that he was planning on blowing up right next to the RESOLUTE 2. The plan went bads when HOLLIS had a change of heart and freed NARA BURNS.The two freed her other teammates and the whole group escaped before the ship exploded. BARCA noticed seconds before that the fire ship was tractored to his. The explosion killed him and his entire group. PHAETON never found another spy.
