AZONIA was one of the top leaders in the Zentradi fleet. She was the supreme commander of all female Zentradi. When BREETAI failed to recapture several Earthlings after they escaped, DOLZA relived him of duty and put AZONIA in charge of attacking SDF-1. Her efforts were less then spectacular and BREETAI was soon in command. AZONIA stayed in Earthspace to aid him.
AZONIA did not side with BREETAI when he betrayed DOLZA. She left Earth orbit and made contact with KHYRON. The two joined forces and two years later attacked the RDF several times. During one battle they actually kidnapped LYNN MINMEI. As a result of being stranded on Earth and exposed to its culture, AZONIA and KHYRON began to have human emotions, including love for each other.
AZONIA joined KHYRON in his last attack on SDF-1. Like him, she died when KHYRON rammed his flagship into the SDF-1 and SDF-2.
