SECRET HEADQUARTERS: the apartment he shares with the TICK
ARTHUR was a mild-mannered accountant who found a mothsuit at the garage sale of JJ EUREKA VATOS. He liked the suit and was considering becoming a superhero. ARTHUR was fired from his job for wearing the suit too many times. Soon he found the TICK and the two became partners. Early in his sidekick career, ARTHUR would be considered a bunny and not a moth. Nowadays no one makes that mistake.
ARTHUR helped the TICK defeat many adversaries. One time, ARTHUR was kidnapped by THRAKAZOG and replaced by a greenskinned clone. He broke free with help from THRAKAZOG'S roommate and helped TICK stop THRAKAZOG from using an army of MUCUS-TICK CLONES to conquer the world. Later he grew mad at TICK for maxing out all his credit cards. They had a split that ended when ARTHUR and AMERICAN MAID realized they needed TICK'S help in stopping the TERROR. During that caper, ARTHUR made a diversion out of the song "I'm a Little Teacup". He got his butt kicked, but the diversion worked.
ARTHUR met CARMELITA, daughter of JJ EUREKA VATOS. The two teamed up against SWISS SPIES who were seeking a coded notebook hidden in ARTHUR'S mothsuit. The adventure ended with all the heroes stuck inside BLOWHOLE. Fortunately, they found CARMELITA'S dad and used LITTLE WOODEN BOY to start a fire that freed everyone from the whale's stomach. For awhile, ARTHUR was without a partner when TICK was thought to have died trying to repair the moon. He tried teaming with DIE FLEDERMAUS and then HUMAN BULLET. Neither partnership worked out but fortunately, TICK reappeared alive and well.
ARTHUR teamed with several heroes to save TICK from BRAINCHILD. He also teamed with other heroes to stop BETTY THE ANT QUEEN after TICK freaked out and ran away. ARTHUR helped the TICK overcome an addicition to gambling he developed while helping dolphin trainers, SOREN & FRED.
ARTHUR served as best man at the wedding of his sister DOT to DINOSAUR NEIL. Soon after he was kidnapped by fake AZTECS who thought he was CARMELITA. They turned out to be her old softball team. CARMELITA and TICK saved ARTHUR. Later, ARTHUR used BARON VIOLENT'S strength belt to enhance himself. His muscles ended up affecting his attitude and the TICK was forced to fight him. When he almost fell to death, ARTHUR snapped out of his attitude and ditched the belt in time for CARMELITA to save him. He apologized for his actions and helped repair any damage he caused.
ARTHUR teamed with foreign exchange superhero ECLAIRE in fighting BREADMASTER. He and TICK taught a class on superheroing during which ARTHUR discovered one of the students worked for the same office as he did. He and CARMELITA tried to show each other how much they cared at one point but were stopped by the fact that their bodies were switched into other forms by PROFFESSOR CHROMEDOME. For awhile he was trapped in the body of TONGUE-TONGUE, but he was restored to normal. He tried to kiss CARMELITA but TICK was in her body at the time and he did'nt appreciate being kissed by his sidekick.
ARTHUR is still today partnered with TICK.
