DR. ARCHEVILLE is a mad scientist who cut a deal with MEGATRON to help him in exchange for ruling the world. He developed the Hypno Chip and used it to brainwash hundreds of humans including SPIKE'S dad, Sparkplug. MEGATRON used these humans in his plot to bring CYBERTRON to Earth orbit.
As the planet started to break apart, DR. ARCHEVILLE realized MEGATRON had no intention of keeping their deal. He then teamed with STARSCREAM. When MEGATRON was thought to have died when CYBERTRON broke away from Earth, the doctor accompanied STARSCREAM to CYBERTRON. There he found out STARSCREAM had rigged the power generator in ARCHEVILLE'S lab to blow up, destroying the Earth and releasing massive amounts of energy. DR. ARCHEVILLE tried to stop him, but ended being eletrocuted by a computer panel.
STARSCREAM saved DR. ARCHEVILLE'S life, but at the cost of turning him into a cyborg stuck in a wheelchair. DR. ARCHEVILLE was horrified at his condition and refused to help STARCREAM turn off the power generator. Instead he told him that it was too late for anyone else beside STARSCREAM to shut it off.
DR. ARCHEVILLE has not been seen since and his fate is unknown.
