BOSS ANTARES was the leader of the most ruthless gang to inhabit the moon of TITAN. He made a reputation for being totally heartless when in actuality he did have a soft spot for children, especially those that were orphaned because Machine People killed their parents.
ANTARES and his people kidnapped MAETEL. TETSURO followed them. ANTARES saw the boy save his daughter from getting killed by a machine and took the boy to see MAETEL. He put both of them through an x-ray to prove that they're human and then in a show of faith, went through himself. He revealed he had unexploded bullets in his body. He gave TETSURO information on COUNT MECHA and then told him to shoot first and ask questions later.
ANTARES followed the boy and snuck into the count's TIME CASTLE. He appeared in the nick of time to save the boy. ANTARES held off the count's troops so the boy could follow the COUNT deeper into the CASTLE. ANTARES managed to finish off his opponents and then found TETSURO unable to get to the count because he was protected by a force field. ANTARES approached the force field while COUNT MECHA fired shot after shot. ANTARES would not go down until he reached the force field. He hugged the field and as his final words, told TETSURO not to trust MAETEL. The bullets in his body then exploded and ANTARES died. His sacrifice enabled TETSURO to get his vengeance on the count. A short time later, TETSURO learned what ANTARES'S last words meant.
