| VASH THE STAMPEDE VOICE ACTOR: Johnny Young Bosch OCCUPATION: gunman/wanderer WEAPON OF CHOICE: cyborg arm, custom made gun 1ST APPEARENCE: TRIGUN: THE $$60,000,000,000.00 MAN VASH THE STAMPEDE is a genitcally altered plant that resembles a human being. He and his brother MILLION KNIVES were raised abroad a starship that was part of a convoy that seeking a planet to colonize. VASH befriened the human REM SAVEREM who was the only one who was showing the brothers any kindness. KNIVES used his abilities to kill the crew and try to sabotage the convoy. REM stopped him but died when the ship blew up. VASH was torn up over her death. KNIVES was convinced that humans were worthless and made it his crusade to destroy them. He gave VASH what would be his signature gun. VASH shot him and walked away. He made his way around the world but ran into KNIVES again when the latter killed REM'S only living descendant. VASH tried to shoot him again but KNIVES blew off his left arm and made him activate his ANGEL ARM. The explosion leveled the city of JULY. VASH survived and gained a cyborg arm that contained a hidden machine gun. He gained a reputation for being a dangerous outlaw and a reward for 60 billion double dollars was put on his head. VASH then spent the next several decades running from bounty hunters. VASH met and befriended MERYL STRIFE and MILLY THOMPSON, employees of the Bernardeli Insurance Agency who were charged with keeping the destruction that followed VASH under control. He also befriended a priest named NICHOLAS D WOLFWOOD. His past caught up to him when he met LEGATO BLUESUMMERS. The mystery man told VASH he would die and then sent MONEV THE GALE after him. VASH defeated MONEV but was soon attacked by more of the group MONEV belonged to, the GUNG-HO GUNS. During a battle with RAI-DEI THE BLADE, VASH was forced to fire the ANGEL ARM again. This destroyed the town of AUGUSTA. VASH fled and hid with a girl named LINA and her grandmother. WOLFWOOD found him and the two were forced to rescue LINA from bandits. VASH resumed his journey after WOLFWOOD told him of some mystery disappearences that were linked to the word knives. He and WOLFWOOD visited a FLYING SHIP that belonged to friends of VASH who never had seen the surface of the planet. The GUNG-HO GUNS followed and despite the efforts of VASH, WOLFWOOD, and BRAD, the ship crashed. BRAD was also killed by a puppet controlled by LEONOF. Later in the town to TOMIN, WOLFWOOD revealed his connection to LEGATO, KNIVES, and the GUNGO-HO GUNS. He and VASH made peace but WOLFWOOD died in battle with CHAPEL THE EVERGREEN. A short time later in LR TOWN, LEGATO forced VASH to choose between shooting him or seeing MERYL and MILLY killed. VASH was forced to shoot LEGATO in the head. VASH sulked again but was spured into action after MERYL came to his defense when some some townsfolk wanted to kill him. VASH went and confronted KNIVES. The two had a massive gun battle. By the end, KNIVES was going to fire a double ANGEL ARM. VASH was guided by the spirit of WOLFWOOD to grab his special cross which had brought with him. VASH used it to stop KNIVES. He took the unconious KNIVES and headed back to civilization. VASH'S present whereabouts are unknown. (Note: Johnny Young Bosch was the second Black ranger in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
