| STELLA VOICE ACTOR: none RACE: unknown OCCUPATION: bass guitarist 1ST APPEARENCE: INTERSTELLA 5555 STELLA is part of an alien music band. Her band mates include OCTAVE, ASPERGIUS, and BERYL. The quartet were kidnapped during a concert by the EARL OF DARKWOOD. He took them to Earth where he brainwashed STELLA and her friends into thinking they were a human band named the CRESENDOLLS. To complete the illusion, DARKWOOD had STELLA transformed into looking like a human woman with brown hair. She and her bandmates were worked to death by DARKWOOD. A concert they were performing was interrupted by SHEP, who freed the others from their brainwashing. He was unable to release STELLA before DARKWOOD intervened. He was forced to retreat without her. She later accompanied DARKWOOD to a fashion show and an award show where the band won top prize. As she was onstage, STELLA was released from DARKWOOD'S control by BERYL who used a device disguised as a camera. He and OCTAVE drove her to safety. They went back to SHEP who was mortally wounded during his attempt to free the band. SHEP had a crush on STELLA and he showed her his feelings by giving her a vision of the two flying. She grew to feel the same way but SHEP died from his wounds. When the band buried him, she placed a flower on his grave. STELLA had earlier stolen a card from DARKWOOD that had the location of his castle. The band stormed the castle and found out his plans for universal conquest. They were captured and STELLA was used to power a machine DARKWOOD was using. The band fought back and STELLA was freed while DARKWOOD fell to his death. STELLA and the band were arrested while trying to break into a record company to try to steal disks that had their true memories. The RECORD COMPANY EXECUTIVE found out the truth about DARKWOOD and made it public. World leaders and scientists teamed together and repaired SHEP'S SHIP so they could send teh band home. The band was also restored to normal. The trip home was plagued by the ghost of DARKWOOD However, SHEP'S ghost appeared and drove him off. The band returned home and erected a statue in his honor. STELLA remains with the band today and has not forgotten the man who loved her and gave his life to save her. (Note: Interstella 5555 is aparently not part of normal Leijiverse continuity.)
