SEIRYO hated the fact that she had live on Earth and thought it was a hellish place. He also shared AZUSA'S distaste of TENCHI. He accompanied AZUSA when the latter went with his wives to Earth. At AZUSA'S behest, SEIRYO challenged TENCHI to a duel. SEIRYO mistook TENCHI'S reluctance to fight as cowardice and bragged that he was going to have an easy win. Before the fight began, MIHOSHI crashed her ship into the lake behind TENCHI'S house. The wave that resulted washed over the combatants. TENCHI was fine but SEIRYO was knocked out by the wave. As a result,TENCHI won the duel by default. AZUSA left soon after. It is assumed SEIRYO went with him. AZUSA has sworn that he has not finished with TENCHI.
