PRIMARY MOBILE SUIT: none 1ST APPEARANCE: GUNDAM WING: THE SHOOTING STAR SHE SAW RELENA is the daughter of the PEACECRAFT Family, the last rulers of the SANC KINGDOM before it was taken over by the Earth Alliance. VICE MINISTER DARLIAN rescued her and raised her as his daughter. Years later she went to boarding school and ran into HEERO YUY at the start of OPERATION METEOR. Despite his hostility, RELENA was smittened by him. Her foster father was killed by LADY UNE shortly before Operation Daybreak. He told her that she was really a PEACECRAFT. RELENA was shocked by the news but soon adapted the PEACECRAFT beliefs. She was joined by LUCREZIA NOIN who was asked to look after by ZECHS MERQUISE. RELENA pursued HEERO to a battle with ZECHS. When she cheered HEERO on so he could kill ZECHS, NOIN revealed ZECHS was her brother, MILLIARDO. RELENA was once again shocked. Before she could do anything with this information, both HEERO and ZECHS retreated into outer space. RELENA meanwhile recreated the SANC KINGDOM with herself as ruler. At the same time, she set up a school where she taught about total pacifism. One of her students was DOROTHY CATALONIA. Secretly, DOROTHY was spying for her grandfather, DUKE DERMAIL. RELENA reunited with HEERO. Despite his best efforts and help from NOIN, QUATRE, and the MAGANAC CORPS, the SANC KINGDOM was invaded by OZ and Romefeller and RELENA was forced to surrender. She agreed to act as the "Queen of the World Nation" for DUKE DERMAIL. However, DERMAIL was hoping to use her like a puppet, RELENA instead used her position to preach total pacifism. His plan foiled, DERMAIL fled into outer space where he was killed by WHITE FANG under orders by ZECHS. TRIEZE KHUSHRENADA relieved RELENA of hercrown and took over power. RELENA went into space to confront her brother on LIBRA. There she ran into HILDE while the latter was spying. She then ran into HEERO and the two of them fled LIBRA just before the start of the Christmas Eve battle between WHITE FANG and TRIEZE'S forces. During the battle, RELENA and several others went onboard TRIEZE'S command ship. There LADY UNE offered her a gun so she could avenge her father. RELENA refused to shoot. After the battle, RELENA inherited her foster father's position. A year later, RELENA was kidnapped by MARIEMAIA and DEKIM BARTON. She witnessed DEKIM'S atack on the Earth and managed to escape just long enough to give the people of Earth a message urging resistence. HEERO then appeared and blasted DEKIM'S bunker. DEKIM tried to shoot RELENA but MARIEMAIA came to her senses and took the bullet instead. DEKIM was then shot dead by one of his own men. Since then RELENA has gone back to her job.
