The Indians grew myths around around the idea he was a trickster god. Another child of OBERON, GRANDMOTHER taught a local chief how to battle RAVEN. This started a tradition where every chief had to battle RAVEN to keep the land from going dead. In 1995 the current chief, NATSILANE, was not a believer in the old ways. Soon GOLIATH and those on the AVALON WORLD TOUR appeared. RAVEN disguised himself and told the Gargoyles GRANDMOTHER was evil. ELIZA had meanwhile met GRANDMOTHER and NATSILANE. ANGELA soon saw through RAVEN and the Gargoyles appeared before NATSILANE, making him believe in the old ways. The Gargolyes and NATSILANE battled RAVEN at the top of a volcano. RAVEN retreated and left the area. He took part in the Gathering and like the other Children of OBERON, is now forbidden from leaving AVALON.
