| PICCOLO VOICE ACTOR: SCOTT McNEILL RACE: Namekian FIGHTING SKILLS: mostly self-taught but still very powerful 1ST APPEARENCE: DRAGONBALL Z: THE ARRIVAL OF RADITZ (see below) PICCOLO began his life as King Piccolo, a creature created by KAMI when he expelled evil from his system. King Piccolo was tainted by all the violence he had seen and wanted to rule the world. He went on quest to gather the DRAGONBALLS. In the process one of his minions killed KRILLEN. This enraged GOKU who went after him. GOKU manged to use the DRAGONBALLS to revive KRILLEN and killed King Piccolo in battle by blasting a hole in his stomach. Before dying King Piccolo spit out an egg that contains all his memories. The egg hatched and became the PICCOLO that remains to this day. PICCOLO fought GOKU for years including a battle at the WORLD MARTIAL ARTS TOURNAMENT. However, in one instance they teamed up to battle GARLIC JR after his henchmen attacked him. A short while later PICCOLO again teamed with GOKU in order to battle RADITZ. During the battle PICCOLO killed GOKU when the latter held RADITZ has PICCOLO launched his PARTICLE BEAM CANNON. When the dying RADITZ revealed that more Sayiens were on the way, PICCOLO took GOHAN to train. They spent a year training. During this time, PICCOLO began to care for GOHAN and when the battle arrived PICCOLO sacrificed his life to save GOHAN from a blast shot by NAPPA. PICCOLO went to train under KING KAI. He was wished back to life by GOHAN and KRILLEN using the Namek DRAGONBALLS. he then took part in the battle against FRIEZA. During the fight he merged with the Namek warrior NAIL. PICCOLO was sent back to Earth by a DRAGONBALL wish. Months later. PICCOLO helped GOHAN and KRILLEN battle GARLIC JR. After GOKU came back, PICCOLO trained for two years in order to prepare to battle the androids of DR GERO only fighting onec against COOLER.When the Androids came, he defeated GERO in battle and aided in fighting 17 & 18. However, he sensed the power of CELL and had to merge with KAMI to gain the power to battle him. Even this power was not enough to beat CELL. PICCOLO took part in the CELL GAMES. PICCOLO remained quiet for seven years before taking part in the WORLD MARTIAL ARTS TOURNAMENT. During the Tournament, he forfeited his match to the SUPREME KAI. He then joined the battle against BABADI where he was turned to stone by DABURA. By the time he was cured, MAJIN BUU had awoke. PICCOLO helped trained GOTEN and TRUNKS in the art of FUSION and helped battle MAJIN BUU but they were unable to prevent BUU from consuming everyone on KAMI'S LOOKOUT.PICCOLO was then absorbed by BUU but freed by GOKU and VEGETA. However, he was killed when the Earth was destroyed. He was revived thanks to the DRAGONBALLS and helped use his life energy to power a SPIRIT BOMB. A short time laterhe attended a party at CAPSULE CORP. PICCOLO laid low for ten years until he attended a WORLD MARTIAL ARTS TOURNAMENT in order to watch GOKU, VEGETA, GOTEN, TRUNKS, PAN, and FAT BUU compete. (Note: Due to the fact that Dragonball Z first came to the US before his first Dragonball appearence, I count THE ARRIVAL as PICCOLO'S first appearence.
