| OWEN BURNETT VOICE ACTOR: Jeff Bennet RACE: Child of Oberon disguised as a Human OCCUPATION: aide to DAVID XANATOS 1ST APPEARENCE: GARGOYLES: AWAKENINGS OWEN BURNNET is the human disguise of PUCK. He is based on PRESTON VOGEL of Cyberbiotics. He started as an aide to HALCYON RENARD. Finding RENARD boring, he soon switched sides to DAVID XANATOS. He revealed his identity to XANATOS and offered him either one wish or his eternal servitude as OWEN. XANATOS chose the second option. OWEN helped in the purchase of CASTLE WYVERN. After the battle that erupted shortly after the Gargoyles awoke, OWEN tried to steer ELIZA MAZA away. He also tried to convince her that the Gargoyles were just stone statues. Neither plan worked. After XANATOS was arrested, OWEN ran most of his operations. He arranged to secretly buy back guns stolen by TONY DRACON. When GOLIATH thought DRACON had shot ELIZA, OWEN played on this to get GOLIATH to go after the crook. When the Gargoyles tried to leave the CASTLE and take the GRIMORUM with them. OWEN tried in vain to stop them. OWEN was at PACK MEDIA STUDIOS when DEMONA made a broadcast of a spell to turn all humans into stone at night. OWEN tried to stop her but was rendered unable to move. He broke free but was turned to stone just has he was about to warn XANATOS. Fortunately, he was cured when XANATOS and GOLIATH made peace in order to stop DEMONA. Later when XANATOS wanted to test the CAULDRON OF LIFE, OWEN dipped his hand into it. The CAULDRON turned his upper left arm into stone. OWEN soon learned to use his disability as an advantage by using his arm as a ram to hit people in the chest in battle. When ALEXANDER XANATOS was born, OWEN warned his father not leave him alone with his grandmother, ANASTASIA RENARD. When OBERON appeared and revealed her to be TITANIA, OWEN decided to disappear rather than have his identity exposed. He did however leave XANATOS the weapons he'd need to fend off OBERON. Unfortunately, they weren't enough and OWEN had to reveal his true self to OBERON. Eventually, FOX XANATOS won the day. PUCK was banished to the Human world and returned to the form of OWEN. As OWEN he surveyed the damage done to a warehouse housing DI-7. He also tried to prevent ALEXANDER from being kidnapped. OWEN is still in the service of XANATOS amd his family to this day.
