OTTOMAN

OCCUPATION: furniture-controlling villian
SECRET BASE: anywhere with nice future, although as right now, shes stuck sitting on the World's Most Comfortable Chair.
POWERS: She can command furniture to do her evil bidding.

The OTTOMAN came to the City wanting to take it over with an army of rogue furniture. She caught the attentions of the night avenger, DIE FLEDERMAUS. The two fell in love, but her habit of doing evil got in the way of their having anything romantic. However, she became obssesed with turning DIE FLEDERMAUS over to her side.

The TICK, ARTHUR, and AMERICAN MAID tried fighting her at every turn. The first time, TICK fell under the spell of the World's Most Comfortable Chair. The second time, he hit an oncoming subway and his brain got screwed up so he thought he was English royalty.

Finally the heroes confronted OTTOMAN and DIE FLEDERMAUS was able to keep his libido in check long enough to help. The battle ended with OTTOMAN a victim of the World's Most Comfortable Chair. Last anyone heard anything, she's still sitting on that thing.
