| MARISSA FAIRBORNE VOICE ACTOR: Susan Blu ALLEGIANCE: member of the EDC and ally to the Autobots FUNCTION: EDC captain 1ST APPEARENCE: TRANSFORMERS: FIVE FACES OF DARKNESS MARISSA FAIRBORNE is a member of Earth Defense Corps in the year 2005. She first encountered the Autobots when BLASTER contacted her while she was on Mars. He wanted her to rescue BLURR and WHEELIE who were stranded while trying to deliver a new part for METROPLEX. FAIRBORNE found them but became stranded as well when her ship was destroyed. Fortunately all were rescued by SKY LYNX. MARISSA was then kidnapped by a QUINTESSON and imprisoned alongside ULTRA MAGNUS, WRECK-GAR, and CYCLONUS, The four of them teamed upo and escaped captivity. They also pooled their skills into freeing themselves from a black hole. Afterwards all went their seperate ways. MARISSA joined the Autobots in battling the Decepticons in Japan. When RODIMUS PRIME drove off to relieve stress, she tried to follow only to find out he wanted to be left alone. She then tried to fight off two STUNTICONS that gave chase but was unable to prevent them from running RODIMUS off the road. MARISSA worked with the TECHNOBOTS to rescue a trader named DIRK MANUS. She started to fall for DIRK but it was revealed he was working for the QUINTESSONS. At first it looked like he sold her out but he soon showed his true colors and helped defeat the QUINTESSONS. However. DIRK then ran off with gold that being held as evidence. MARISSA foresaw this and replaced the gold before hand with dust. MARISSA stills works for the EDC and remains a loyal ally to the Autobots. (Note: Due to the fact her name is Fairborne and the fact that Bill ratner voiced her father, it is rumored that she is the daughter of FLINT of the GIJoe team.)
