| LEONOF THE PUPPETMASTER OCCUPATION: member of the GUNG-HO GUNS WEAPON OF CHOICE: remote controlled "puppets" 1ST APPEARENCE: TRIGUN: DEMON'S EYE (DECEASED) The back history of the man known as LEONOF THE PUPPETMASTER is unknown. What is known is that he is a member of the GUNG-HO GUNS. It is also known that he is a quiet man who does not confront hisopponents directly but uses remote controlled "puppets" to do so. These "puppets can look like anything or anyone, but LEONOF usually uses either "puppets" made to look like vultures or a "puppet" that looks like a cowboy with long white hair and a long beard. He can speak through this type of "puppet". He is capable of controlling several at one time. LEONOF took part in the slaughtering of half of the RODERICK GANG. He was then sent to go after VASH after he resurfaced folowing the destruction of AUGUSTA. LEONOF had one of his "puppets" get involved in a town's battle among two feuding families. VASH put a stop to the fighting but did'nt run into the "puppet". LEONOF next sent scores of "pupppet" to attack a satellite that was floating above the clouds. VASH and WOLFWOOD fought off all the "puppets" but not before LEONOF told them of two more GUNG-HO GUNS that were going to attack. That battle ended with the satellite crashing to the surface. It was then that it was revealed that LEONOF had replaced the girl JESSICA with a puppet. The JESSICA PUPPET tried to shoot VASH but killed BRAD instead. WOLFWOOD found LEONOF sitting alone in the desert. He fired a missile at him to make him pay for the death he caused. LEONOF died instantly when the missile hit.
