| LEO BUILT BY: various PRIMARY USERS: any pilot ALLOY: titanium 1ST APPEARANCE: GUNDAM WING: THE SHOOTING STAR SHE SAW (all DESTROYED) The LEO was the first Mobile Suit type ever built for mass use. All its stats such speed, power, weapons, and armor are listed at level 100. This made the LEO the mobile suit to compare to when designing any other mobile suit types. However, this was also the suit's biggest weakness. It showed no advantage in any category. All other mobile suit designs since the LEO have surpassed it in one or more respect. Despite this, the low cost of manufacturing LEOS made them the main suits in the field for the Alliance Military. The LEO could also use a variety of weapons including machine guns, Dober Guns, bazookas, and beam sabers. LEOS could also be fitted with a wing in the back to allow for short term flight. When OZ and Romefeller took over Earth, they continued to use LEOS. LEOS were also fitted for duty in space. When MAJOR TUBEROV created MOBILE DOLLS, he used LEOS during the prototype phase. White Fang also used LEOS in its forces. The Gundam pilots all at one point or another stole LEOS from their enemies and used them in battle. Following the end of the war with White Fang, it was thought that all LEOS were destroyed. DEKIM BARTON saved several and used them as part of his army.
