| GREAT SAIYAMAN VOICE ACTOR: Daemon Clarke RACE: Half-human, Half-saiyan FIGHTING SKILLS: The same as GOHAN 1ST APPEARENCE: DRAGONBALL Z: I AM SAIYAMAN The GREAT SAIYAMAN is the superhero identity GOHAN assumed in order to fight crime in the city and not be hounded as he went to school. The costume was designed BULMA to materialize when GOHAN pushed a button on his watch. SAIYAMAN soon gained fame but he also attracted the attentions of VIDEL , who wanted to know who he was. He and VIDEL teamed up to save a bus full of people and also in stopping a fire. He ended up almost fighting VIDEL when he tried to free a baby Pterodactyl from captivity. When GOHAN appeared in school then next day, he wore a bandaid over the same spot SAIYAMAN had been hit. VIDEL then used this to deduce that SAIYAMAN and GOHAN were one and the same. She then blackmailed GOHAN into helping her train for the WORLD MARTIAL ARTS TOURNAMENT and then entering himself so she could face him. Before the TOURNAMENT GOHAN switched his helmet for a scarf and sunglasses since helmets were forbidden. The day of the TOURNAMENT he had to brave long lines and attempts by SHARPENER to uncover his identity. GOHAN'S identity was blown when his scarf flew off when he went Super Saiyan after watching VIDEL get beaten to a pulp by SPOPOVITCH. Following the battle with MAJIN BUU, GOHAN resumed his superhero career. This time he was joined by VIDEL who was disguised as Saiyagirl. In the decade that followed, both stopped their superhero careers, probably due to the fact that they got married and had a child.
