| GENTLE CHAPMAN NATIONALITY: Neo-England GUNDAM: ROYAL GUNDAM (later) GRAND GUNDAM 1ST APPEARENCE: G GUNDAM: POWERFUL ENEMY! CHAPMAN'S HEROIC CHALLENGE (DECEASED) GENTLE CHAPMAN was the Gundam Fighter for Neo-England for decades, winning the Gundam Fights several times. He took part in the 13th fight but was by then suffering from ill health. He started taking pills but the effects were begining to take their toll on him. His wife started using dummies of his ROYAL GUNDAM to fool opponents. DOMON KASSHU and GEORGE DE SAND finally defeated CHAPMAN and RAIN exposed his wife's scheme. CHAPMAN succumbed to his illness and died. His body was found by WONG YUN-FAT and infused with DG CELLS. This broughth him back to life. Under WONG'S orders, CHAPMAN took part in the finals. He also killed a Neo-English diplomat. MARIE-LOUISE saw the assasination and GEORGE protected her from CHAPMAN. The two then fought a match that was sabatoged when MICHELO CHARIOT took over the forcefield control building and shut it off. DOMON and ALLENBY BEARDSLEY stopped MICHELO. CHAPMAN then attacked GEORGE using the GRAND GUNDAM. GEORGE managed to defeat CHAPMAN despite the GRAND GUNDAM'S size and power. CHAPMAN later tried to chase down SCHWARTZ BRUDER and RAIN when they broke into WONG'S headquarters. CHAPMAN took part in the battle on LANTAU ISLAND. He attacked DOMON but ended up fighting GEORGE and CHIBODEE CROCKET, After keeping the two pinned down, CHAPMAN was attacked by the two using their most powerful attacks at the same time. The blast damaged both CHIBODEE and GEORGE'S Gundam but they both survived. The GRAND GUNDAM was destroyed and CHAPMAN was killed off for good. Back to Main Page Back to table of contents |
