| GEORGE BLACK VOICE ACTOR: Rick Peeples OCCUPATION: Dircetor of the Chicago Branch of the ATF BASE: ATF Chicago Branch 1ST APPEARANCE: GUNSMITH CATS: NEUTRAL ZONE (DECEASED) GEORGE BLACK was the head of the ATF in Chicago. He was also part of the gunrunning plot hatch by SENATOR EDWARD HAINT. In public he was a strong supporter of HAINT'S plan to rid the city of guns. BLACK arranged for BILL COLLINS to investiagte the gunrunning plot in the hopes that he'd screw up. COLLINS got bounty hunter RALLY VINCENT involved and together they caught JONATHAN WASHINGTON, one of the suppliers working for HAINT. BLACK gave Russian assassin NATASHA RADINOV an i.d. with COLLINS' name on it and she used it to break into the safehouse where WASHINGTON was staying and kill everyone there. BLACK then used this as an excuse to take COLLINS off the case. COLLINS followed up in secret and his fellow co-worker KATHY did a search of company phone records and found that BLACK had called SAFEHOUSE NUMBER 6. The safehouse was where BLACK had stashed RADINOV. BLACK felt like he close to being found out so he ran to the safehouse. There he tried to talk to RADINOV only to find her on the phone with HAINT. HAINT ordered her to kill BLACK. She fired a knife at BLACK'S stomach. As BLACK lay in pain begging for mercy, she shot him in the head. RADINOV boobytrapped his body with a grenade. COLLINS arrived awhile later and discoverd BLACK'S body. He avoided the grenade but his partner JODI set off a bomb that was in the phone.
