| EDWARD WONG HAU PEPELU TIVRUSKY THE 4TH (RADICAL EDWARD) VOICE ACTOR: Melissa Fahn OCCUPATION: hacker BASE OF OPERATIONS: mobile 1ST APPEARENCE: COWBOY BEBOP: JAMMING WITH EDWARD EDWARD was born Francoise, the daughter of the man known as APPLEDERRY. She has always had a strange hyperactive personality. She ran away from him and gave herself the name EDWARD WONG HAU PEELU TIVRUSKY THE 4TH. She spent time at an orphanage but soon left. She became a computer hacker and used the RADICAL EDWARD. No one knew what she looked like and wild stories sprung up including one that said she was an alien and another that claimed she was only an infant. The only clue she leaves behind is a smiley face with a giant grin. EDWARD befriended a satellite named MPU which had been using its laser to recreate the Nazca Plains land carvings. EDWARD was blamed for plantary vandalism and a bounty was put out. The crew of the BEBOP went looking her but she contacted them first and told them about MPU. She then cut a deal with FAYE where she would become part of the crew in exchange for her help. At first FAYE tried to slide out of the deal but EDWARD hacked into the BEBOP'S computer and took control, forcing the ship to land and pick her up. Shortly after joining the crew, EDWARD took part in trying to hunt down a mysterious blob that had attacked JET, FAYE, and EIN. She fell asleep during the search. When she woke up, she saw the blob heading towards her and thought it was food. She ate the blob, putting an end to the threat. She played a game with CHESS MASTER HEX that enabled the others to figure out his plans. the game lasted for days but finally EDWARD lost. EDWARD helped JET hack into the ISSP mainframe and get information on MAD PIERROT. She also helped him track the truth about cult leader LONDES. Shortly after, she accompanied FAYE in the lattter's search for her past. The mission ended in failure when FAYE found her home destroyed. Upon their return, EDWARD was reunited with her father.
